Lake Urmia located nearer to the northern-western Iran to its boarder area with the Turkey. It is known as the largest lake in the Middle East and the Sixth highest saltwater lakes in the world. If you want to visit this lake, be quick, because since 1970s, it has shrunk almost 90%. 

     4. Lake Van – Tuekey


It is the largest lake in the Turkey, and more popular to huge tourism crowd at this place. Lake Van is so salty that only one fish, the pearl mullet, thrive there. As there are rumors of having sea monster named Van Golu Canavari and more than thousand tourism claims to have seen it.
